Le Nieuport 12 bis n° 1596 baptisé "Toc-Toc" de l'équipage composé de l'Adj Roger Thuau (N 62) et du Ltt Jean Billon (obs C 43) de l'escadrille N 62 a été capturé dans les environs de Villers-Carbonnel (80), le 10 octobre 1916 - Le pilote a été blessé de deux balles au pied gauche et à l'épaule droite et l'observateur tué d'une balle à la tête - Au moment où cette photo a été prise, le pilote a été évacué pour recevoir des soins et l'observateur, sorti de la carlingue par les Allemands, git dans l'herbe - Son corps est marqué d'une croix - Notez les marquages de cet appareil, entoilage argenté, le coq de la pièce de 20 fr or dans sa variante multicolore, le nom de baptéme "Toc-Toc" et la casserole d'hélice - Le numéro d'identification est soit le "3" ou le "7" - Il ne s'agit donc pas de l'appareil normalement affecté à l'Adj Thuau - Cliquez sur l'image pour l'agrandir - Photo collection Albin Denis.
